Bovis Lend Lease has worked in the Middle East since 1978 and was active within the region through the 1980’s and 1990’s. The business took on a new focus in 2003 with the establishment of a new Regional Office in the UAE and has subsequently opened offices in Bahrain and Oman.
Our team in the Middle East comprises a group of over 300 highly experienced, multidisciplinary individuals from more than 30 different countries with the expertise and skills to provide integrated project management solutions.
In addition to Project Management and Construction Management, our service offering includes Development Management, Sustainability Consultancy (including LEED Certification), EPCM (Engineering Procurement and Construction Management ) in the Industrial Sector and a specialist Rail Group that can provide a full range of specialist rail management services to the regions rapidly growing infrastructure sector.
Bovis Lend Lease manages an extensive portfolio of major projects across the Middle East region. In Dubai we are working on a number of significant developments for many of the regions leading Clients including International City, Jumeirah Park, Jumeirah Pointe and Trump Tower for Nakheel, the Downtown Jebel Ali development for Limitless, the Jumeirah Talise Wellness Resort for the Dubai Investment Group and the Dubai Metro Project for the Roads and Transport Authority.
In Abu Dhabi we are working with the Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank on the delivery of their new Corporate Headquarters and with St Gobain on the delivery of their new plaster board factory.
In Bahrain we are the Development, Project and Construction Management Service provider in joint venture with KMC for the Durrat Al Bahrain project, a new lifestyle, urban community constructed on 12 man-made islands in the south-east of the island of Bahrain and for the PK Resort Development a luxury community development covering over 1,100 acres of reclaimed land adjacent to Durrat Al Bahrain
In Oman, we are providing project management services for a whole new city development, the Blue City in Al Sawadi, and also for the Oman Botanical Gardens, the Sheraton Hotel Refurbishment and the new mixed use development, Safana Plaza.
In addition to core Project Management and Construction Management services we provide an integrated Sustainability Consultancy services across the region. Our Middle East Sustainability team has considerable expertise in developing innovative solutions to environmental and sustainability issues. This highly qualified and experienced team has extensive knowledge of both local and international legislation as well as new initiatives within the sustainable development field. We are able to offer a range of services including Sustainability Reviews, Sustainable Development Guidelines, LEED Assessments, Sustainability Appraisals, Sustainable Design Solutions, Environmental Impact Assessment Guidance, Corporate Sustainability Strategies & Policies, Environmental Management Plan and Construction Waste Reduction Advice and Programs.
Also based in the region is our specialist Rail Group. This team brings together many experienced rail management and design professionals from many parts of the world and provides focussed, specialist services for major rail and related projects such as the Dubai Metro.
Our strong commitment to operate Incident and Injury Free wherever we have a presence has lead Bovis Lend Lease to become a founding members of BuildSafeDubai, a construction stakeholder group set up to identify and promote agreed minimum health and safety standards for the benefit of all workers in the construction industry in Dubai. |
